Most of the other mini drones I saw didn’t have that. I’m not a pro drone guy (I had a couple other kinds of drones that I wrecked in the first couple days).
This is a very small drone (smaller than the bus/public transit card). It is a bit hard to control at first, but within the day we were flying it around the house. However, open space is still recommended.
This nano drone does not have guards around the propeller, so it is a good thing that there are spare propellers included.
