Syma X52C Nano Quadcopter with 2MP 720P HD Camera

Intelligent Orientation Control/Headless
The X52C features “Headless” (IOC) flight mode, which makes flying much easier than before. Headless mode eliminates the need for a “nose”, as it can be flown in any direction regardless of which end is in front or back.

2MP HD Camera
The Syma X52C Nano Quadcopter comes with a 2MP 720P HD camera. Ideal for taking aerial photos and videos.

The latest 6-axis flight control system is easier than ever to control, with stronger wind resistance, and greater stability.

360° Eversion
One key 360°roll, continuous roll for perfect action and wonderful performance.

LED Lights
Now fly your quad at night, and easily keep track of your quad with the attractive colorful light display.

Blade Protector
The elasticity of the blade guards prevents damage upon impact, and prevent the propellers from motor damage due to interference.

Pretty cool quadcopter.

One issue I have is the battery cover on the quad as it doesn’t keep it’s place. It keeps opening everytime I play with it, very annoying!

I have crashed it every time I fly it but the unit is still in very good condition, as if nothing happened.
Be very careful on touching the blades while its spinning as it will hurt!

The unit itself is small enough that it fits your palm.
It’s not my first time flying a quad as I have another one, the UD818A, but I wouldn’t say I’m a pro. Flying time is very short but most quads are like that.

Packaging is very professional. It a small box with the details of the product on the box. It comes with everything you need the quad, 2 batteries, micro sd, extra blades, controller and even the screw driver to open the battery case on the controller.

I definitely recommen this to anyone looking for a small and fun to play it quad.

Camera is ok only.

Syma X52C Quadcopter

The Syma X52C Sky Eye is one of Syma’s newest quadcopters. Syma is well known for quality made quadcopters. This model is one of their smaller quadcopters but it is loaded with features.

First Impressions
The X52C is about 3-3/4” by 3-3/4” in size. This puts it into the “nano” category. It appears to be well made. The camera is built in. I like the propeller guards because they help reduce propeller breakage. The gold color on the canopy looks pretty cool too. This quadcopter has bright LED lights for nighttime flying fun. The lights also flash to warn you that the batter is running out of power.

What’s Included
Syma has included an extra battery with the X52C. This is a huge plus that doubles your flying fun time. No more having to stop and wait for a battery to charge so you can continue flying. Syma also included are extra propellers (blades) propeller spaces. Finally, they also included a 4GB memory card and USB memory card reader for use with the quadcopter’s video camera.

The transmitter needs (4) AA batteries to operate the X52C. The transmitter has a video game controller design. It feels great in your hand. The rubber coating on the joysticks is nice for keeping a solid grip. The transmitter binds to the quadcopter by simply pushing the left joystick up/down twice. The left index finger button allows for flips when used in conjunction with the right joystick. The right index finger button allows you two switch between low and high speed mode. I recommend high speed mode when flying outdoors in the breeze.

I had some trouble keeping the battery door closed. You really have to tuck the battery wires into the battery compartment. If not, the door will come open. While getting used to the quadcopter I landed pretty hard on the concrete floor. The landing legs kept popping off. The legs would sometimes catch on the ground causing the quadcopter to flip over. I ended up taking the legs off. Once I did it flew much better. No more catching on the ground and flipping over.

The x52C is pretty easy to fly. The controls are very straight forward. Flips are easy to do using the button sequence mentioned above. Just be careful not to do too many flips. Flipping is hard on the electric motors. They can burn out when abused. This quadcopter has a decent range for outdoor use. I did have my fair share of mishaps when flying this quadcopter. Since this little quadcopter is very lightweight the wind does blow it around. Luckily, this thing is pretty robust. Even after my abuse, the X52C received absolutely no damage.

The x52C does come with the ability to switch between low and high speed mode. Low speed mode is good for getting used to flying this quadcopter and for beginning flyers to hone their flying skills. High speed mode is great for flying outdoors and more experienced flyers. I really like flying in high speed mode.

Syma has also built headless mode into this quadcopter. Headless mode allows theX52C to be flown in any direction regardless of which end is in front or back. In other words, when the quadacopter gets turned around you don’t have to remember that left is right and right is left. This is good for younger flyers. More experienced flyers usually don’t use this mode.

The X52C comes with an integral 720p HD camera. Syma has included a 4GB memory card and a USB card reader. No need to buy anything extra to enjoy your videos and photos shot while flying. The camera is ok but more for fun. Younger flyers will enjoy it though.

The Syma X52C is a good little flyer. It comes with an extra battery which is a huge plus in my book. I like the way it flies.
